The web sometimes throws up strange and unexpected things!

As a recent course Activity I was tasked with searching my name online and reporting my findings. I don't have a popular name so it's quite easy to find my music and DJ mixes.

For some reason when I got home late last night I decided to search again and see what new information would crop up. I came across a website from many years ago which I had completely forgotten about that contained two of my DJ mixes.

I attempted to download only to find out that this website now charged a fee to a non registered user.  Considering none of the music is licensed and the producers won't receive a penny, this is a disgusting practice. Luckily I remembered my username and password and was able to log in and download them without paying.

Although I do find it awful that a website would charge people to download mixes I thought I had lost these forever so I am really glad I was able to rescue them.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my new blog! I shall be updating as frequently as possible with my general goings on in life, such as information about the course I am studying and the various activities I'll be tackling as I progress. Nothing too deep!

I will also be posting links to my DJ mixes and my views on music and other forms of media such as movies and video games. After many years of denial I may as well hold my hands up high and admit I am something of a geek on the quiet.
